Are Nintendo DS Roms Legal?
DS Roms of commercial games are not legal. Only Public Domain Roms are legal. Public Domain Roms are usually created by users on the internet. It is also legal to download a Rom of a Ds game you already own. Why would you do this? May be you have the game at home and it stopped working or you want to have a backup copy. If this is the case it is legal to download Nintendo DS Roms of this particular game.
Because of the fact that Roms are most of the times not legal, websites offering DS Roms downloads are hard to find. Most sites that carry roms are “underground”. This means that they are by no means permanent and can disappear without notice.
