As a Nintendo DS owner, I find Art Academy DS really cool. In the past year, Art Academy came in two semesters the first and the second. These were artistic tools released by Nintendo and while there were numerous positive reviews on the first semester, the second one did not fare as well. It is for this reason that Nintendo compiled the two and they have brought Art Academy DS which is a major improvement. For starters, Art Academy DS comes with 5 different sections and these include Free Paint, Gallery, Camera, Demo and Lesson. Unlike what people might expect, this is not a simple tool offered for DS but rather, it is designed for the purpose of educating you about different types of drawing techniques which include use of brush strokes, how to create deep illusions and advanced shading skills-this last skill is used for aerial perspectives and multiple layers.
