Another Movie Based Game – Cars 2 Nintendo DS

Cars 2 DS is another movie based Nintendo DS game. Usually it is seen that most of the movie based games are doomed to be monotonous but that is not the case with Cars 2 DS. Cars 2 was a hit animated children and the car characters were loved and admired equally by both adults and children. This has led to the development of Cars 2 DS. I watched this movie three times and it was great and as soon as I have a  kid birthday coming up I will make sure that I buy it for my son. To be more concrete, I will download Cars 2 Nintendo DS online. Lightening Mc Queen – The Main Character Of Cars 2 DS

The main character is car Lightening Mc Queen who is traveling through the world to take part in the Grand Pix Race and be the winner. This is the story of the race mode where you get to play the role of Lightening Mc Queen. This game has basically two modes, the above mentioned race mode and the stealth mode. In the stealth mode you will play different characters like Holly and Finn who are cops of CHROME an institution for cars. In this mode they are trying to deploy an evil plot and get to the root of it in order to solve the problem. Features of Cars 2 DS

Some of the important features of the Cars 2 mini game include:
•    It incorporates one of the most important features from the Cars 2 Movies, which is a training center for cars which goes by the name of CHROME. CHROME stands for Command Headquarters for Recon Operations and Motorized Espionage. Those who have seen the movie would understand it better and it would be pretty exciting for them.

•    There are numerous characters available it is your choice who you wish to be. The different characters available are Lightning McQueen, Mater, Holly Shiftwell and Finn McMissile. You can be a member of CHROME to get training and become a world class spy.

•    You can participate in numerous events and races that come up while you move up the levels. Various gadgets and other adversaries are also available for you to use in the game and become a winner. It is very exciting and the story line is gripping.

•    All the tricks and stunts that are possible by cars can be done here. These stunts and tricks include air tricks, two wheel driving, backwards driving, side stepping to avoid obstacles etc are there to entertain you and fulfill your car stunt dreams. Especially for boys this game is awesome for a boy who is into car racing stuff.

•    A free playing browser is also available. This browser is World of Cars online which allows you to play the games and unlock special items and gadgets on the virtual world. It connects you to the virtual world of cars.

Cars 2 DS Gameplay

  

This spring is going to be hot for all Nintendo DS lovers. There are several great games about to be released as mentioned in my last post there is the pokemon Black and White Ediition. However, there is another game that looks like a lot of fun: Okamiden. Okamiden will be released on 15th March 2011. So just some more days . An interesting thing behind the game is that it has been released in Japan September 2009. Wow…. only 1.5 years later and it will be availble to US gamers.

Okamiden will follow the adventures of Chibiterasu – a young sun god who is summoned to protect the land. Using the DS stylus, players will wield a celestial brush controlled by Chibiterasu. This powerful tool can attack enemies, paint helpful objects and structures into existence and help Chibiterasu perform exceptional feats that will change the world before the player’s eyes. Chibiterasu’s partners in the game will have unique abilities of their own that help the player conquer puzzles and face an onslaught of perilous challenges.

So what’s special about this game? Okamiden retains the series’ hallmark celestial brush play mechanic, and gamers will be able to draw magical symbols on the DS’s touch screen using the stylus. These symbols take the form of sumi-e artwork, a style of calligraphy that emphasizes watercolors, and this visual aesthetic is also applied to the game’s environments and characters.

But there is something else very special about Okamiden… it is the last major DS release before the new system launches, Okamiden is, in essence, the last of a dying breed, and the very last big DS release before 3DS mania hits!

This trailer has some seriously epic music.  I have seen a couple friends play this on the PS3 but I feel that there is a lot available for this game on the DS. I look forward to seeing if it meets my expectations in the future.
