There is one new DS game release to come soon many have been waiting for: Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version. Both games are going to be released in spring 2011. There will be a new story line. The next generation of Pokemon will feature Zekrom (Pokémon White Version) and Pokémon Reshiram (Pokémon Black Version).

There is no wonder that Nintendo is coming up with another Pokemon game: consumer reponse to Pokémon HeartGold Version and Pokémon SoulSilver Version has been tremendous. These two games alone sold over 8.5 million times all over the world. The whole Pokemon game video series sold over 200 million times since its introduction 1997.

Pokemon Black Version and Pokemon White Version feature new Pokemon that players can catch, train and battle as they progress through the game, and some Pokemon can only be caught in one version of the game. For example, the Legendary Pokemon Reshiram can only be caught in Pokemon Black Version, while the Legendary Pokemon Zekrom can only be caught in Pokemon White Version.

Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version let players start with one of three new Starter Pokémon – the Grass-type Snivy™, the Fire-type Tepig™ or the Water-type Oshawott™. Until the main story of the game is complete, every Pokémon that players encounter will have never been seen before in previous Pokémon games. The games also feature original boy and girl trainers who set out on an adventure in the new Unova region.
I’m getting white version on day one. Why? Zekrom looks way more bad than Reshiram. Plus Zekrom is part electric, and this is my aabsolute favorite type in pokemon. So white version is for me. Though I have to say, the names given to the pokemon are really…silly and sound weird. I guess with so many pokemon already. their creativity is bound to dry up, eventually. Anyway about two more weeks and hopefully I’ll be playing White version Of course I will also check out Pokemon Black Version. I for sure will download both games at Pocketdownloadcenter where they will be available soon after the official release.
